
Mr. Zhang Wenchun is a professor at the Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He’s a holder of a doctorate in medicine, and a director of a Ph.D. thesis.
Mr. Zhang Wenchun is playing several roles – he’s the director of the Institute of Basic Medicine – Institute of Life Sciences, director of the Qigong Science Research Center, permanent member of the board of directors of the Academic Society of Qigong Medical, Vice President of the Qigong Medical Association of China, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on the Basic Theory of Chinese Medicine of the Chinese Academic Society of Chinese Medicine, Vice-Chairman of the Welfare and Rehabilitation Commission of the International Federation of Chinese Medicine, Vice President of the Qigong Association for Health of Jiangxi.
Mr. Zhang Wenchun has rich experiences as a professor of traditional Chinese medicine and medical Qigong, both in clinical and academic areas. He has taught several subjects such as “the Fundamental Theory of Chinese Medicine”, “the Internal Classical of the Yellow Emperor”, “Chinese Medicine, Prevention and Rehabilitation”, “Chinese Medicine and Qigong”. He has also been the editor-in-chief of the following publications -“Bases of Traditional Chinese Medicine” (serving as a reference for Chinese medicine institutes throughout China), “Chinese medicine, health and recovery” (drafted as part of the 8th Five-Year Plan of the Commission for Health and Family Planning), “Qigong Science and Chinese Medicine”, “Traditional techniques of re-education in Chinese medicine”. He’s also the Assistant Editor-in-Chief of the following books – “Fundamental Theories of Chinese Medicine”, “Chinese Medicine and Circulation of Qi” (written as part of the 8th Five-Year Plans of Institutes of Higher Education and Educational Institutions of Chinese Medicine throughout the country). In total, Mr. Zhang Wenchun has contributed to the editing of a dozen books and academic works.
